Worldticketshop was started in 2006 to help meet the demands in the online secondary ticket market and has quickly become a leader in this space. With a particular focus on Europe and going multilingual with numerous European languages, the company has worked hard to build a vast network of ticket brokers and agents worldwide in order to connect people looking for ‘hard-to-get’ tickets with the events they wish to attend.
Worldticketshop was honored in 2009 for their fast rate of growth for mid-sized companies in the Netherlands at the Financial Dagblad Gazellen. They placed ninth overall in the country and first in the North. The FD Gazellen Awards are awarded to companies that demonstrate a turnover growth of at least 20 percent over three consecutive years, Worldticketshop grew 527%.
